Fuerte Hoteles cooperates with and supports the Asociación Horizonte Proyecto Hombre in Marbella, in all its activities and programmes in order to achieve the Association’s goal.

The Association’s goal is to assist people with dependence problems, working in preventing drug addiction by encouraging the dependents personal development and social insertion.

Fuerte Hoteles is a basic cooperation pillar for all Horizonte Programmes such as Therapeutic Programmes, Care Home to support treatments, Youngsters Programme, community and family prevention, training and promotion of volunteers... we support financially, in kind, with infrastructure, equipment, qualified personnel for technical projects, human resources, management office…

Fuerte Hoteles Group donates 0.60 € to Horizonte for each reservation made through the fuertehoteles.com site..

Horizonte Volunteers

A volunteer is a person who freely decides to devote part of his/her time to solidarity and altruist actions for free. Cooperate with our activities and programmes::

• Horizonte Shop: Work as a shop assistant selling and arranging our second hand shop’s store. Any time any day of the week.

  10:30 hrs.-13:30 hrs. & 17:00 hrs.-20:00 hrs.

• Spring and Autumn. Markets: Help us in the organisation, sale of items, as a bar tender, etc.
  The traditional Horizonte Market is held twice a year at Parque de la Alameda (Marbella) and Plaza de la Iglesia (San Pedro de Alcántara), from 10:00 hrs. to 21:.00 hrs.
• Prevention and Social Insertion Programmes: with three centres as alternative for street youngsters working together with them offering workshops and leisure activities. We provide materials, just bring you knowledge along: painting, crafts, dance, sewing, cooking, computers, sports, etc.

• Care Home: Training and information given by Horizonte staff to support those persons under Therapeutic-Educational Proyecto Hombre programme. Continuous surveillance of all activities, taking them to the doctor’s, etc.
• Christmas Campaign: Help us making Christmas flower arrangements aimed to collect funds to cover the Association projects.
• Administrative: Help us managing Horizonte (administration, book keeping, subvention applications, etc).
