Tres Pintores, Tres Estilos (Three Painters, Three Styles)

The Fuerte Foundation has launched its series of exhibitions on the theme of social and/or environmental responsibility, one of the basic principles of the El Fuerte Group's policies.

This first exhibition was held at the Fuerte Marbella Hotel between the 14th of November 2008 and the 30th of January 2009 in the Ensenada, Carmelo and History Museum Rooms.

The exhibition featured works by Josefina Collado, Paul Cousteau and Manuel Ortiz Ventura.

A ceremony was held at the exhibition to present the "Amateur Painter 2007" prizes entitled "FOR THE LOVE OF ART". Awards were given to Odila Aguanel in the Oil Painting category, and to Luís Vázquez in the creative information graphics category.

Numerous well-known people who are in some way related to Marbella's business culture attended the event, among whom should be mentioned: Mr Oscar Fernández, director of CADE Marbella, the Councillor for Culture Mrs Carmen Díaz and the advisers to the culture Council, Mrs Carmela Martínez, Mrs Carmen Piedra and Mr José Berrocal, among others.
