Fuerte Hoteles sponsors the IV Málaga Proyecto Hombre “Miguel Ángel Jiménez” Pro-Am golf tournament

For the fourth year running, the Fuerte Foundation is sponsoring the IV Málaga Proyecto Hombre “Miguel Ángel Jiménez” Pro-Am golf tournament. This charity event will be held on the 4th of December at 9.30 am at the Guadalhorce Golf Club in Málaga.

Ever since it was first held in the year 2006, this charity tournament has been supported by the local government of Málaga. It was conceived with the aim of promoting golf as a sport and contributing to the charity activities that are carried out by the Proyecto Hombre Foundation in Málaga.

This tournament is held in partnership with the Gualhorce Golf Club, La Caixa, the Municipal Sports Foundation, the company Fade & Draw Target and the Fuerte Foundation. It has significant support from golfing professionals, led by the Malagan celebrity Miguel Ángel Jiménez, widely acknowledged as the best professional golfer in Spain. The sponsors contributed a total of 55,000 Euros to this event.

Proyecto Hombre will use any funds raised to finance programmes and activities to prevent drug addition in schools and among young people.

Ever since it was founded in Málaga in 1985, the Proyecto Hombre has been working to support and rehabilitate drug-addicts. Over time it has tailored its intervention methods to changes in substances, the profile of consumers and methods of consumption.
