New Organ Concert

The Marbella Friends of the Sol Mayor Organ Association and the El Fuerte Foundation will be putting on a concert next Friday the 5th of June, to be given by the organist Gianluca Libertucci. It will be held at the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación in Marbella at 9.30 pm. Continuing with the organ concert programme for the 2009 season, the maestro will perform, among others, pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Böhm and Mozart.

Organ Concert

Two fixed screens and projectors have been installed in the Parish Church so that the audience can enjoy this season's concerts even more. Two cameras will provide images of the upper level next to the organist and an overall panorama. These improvements have been made possible by work carried out by the Parish, the Fuerte Foundation and the Friends of the Organ Association.

Gianluca Libertucci, organist to the Pontifical Musical Chorus of the Sistine Chapel, has been Professor of "Organs and Organ Composition" since 2001, and he taught “Polyphonic Musical Forms” at the specialist biennial diploma course in "Sacred Music" at the "Agostino Steffani" State Music Conservatory in Catelfranco, Veneto (Treviso). Gianluca Libertucci also keeps himself very busy as a soloist at the most important Spanish and international organ festivals.
