The Fuerte Foundation organises a golf tournament to raise money for the Marbella “Horizonte Proyecto-Hombre Association” in Benahavís

On the 19th of September, the Fuerte Foundation will hold a charity golf tournament at the Flamingos Golf Club in Benahavís (Málaga) to support the Marbella Horizonte Proyecto-Hombre Association.This sporting event is being organised in conjunction with the Marbella Local Government’s Welfare Committee. All funds raised will be donated to projects that are run by the association in the Marbella area to provide assistance to people with drug addiction problems.

The registration price to take part in this First Horizonte Proyecto Hombre Charity Tournament is 60 Euros, and includes a cocktail and prizes to thank the participants for supporting this act of solidarity.

Golf tournament to raise money

The Fuerte Foundation is an institution created by the El Fuerte Group to carry out and promote social projects and activities that contribute towards socio-cultural and human development. They are organising this tournament as part of their social commitment to the entire Andalusian community, in line with the values that are close to the hearts of the well known family of entrepreneurs that created the foundation.

The Marbella Horizonte Proyecto-Hombre Association is an organisation that was founded in Marbella more than 27 years ago when almost nothing was known about drug dependency problems in the Malaga area. It helps around 300 young people every year through projects that are not only aimed at intervening in drug addiction, but also at preventing consumption. Some of the activities carried out by the organisation are programmes to provide therapy, education, advice to families and training for voluntary personnel. In addition, the association also manages a supervised 24 hour shelter for drug addicts who are undergoing treatment.

The Fuerte Foundation would like to emphasise the fact that this event would not be possible without assistance from the Flamingos Golf Course, the Marbella Local Government’s Social Welfare Committee and the Sponsors (Guerrero Lawyers, Caja Madrid, Unicaja, Míele, Contobel).
