The Hotel Fuerte Estepona Suites pledges its commitment to recycled and sustainable art with the opening of two expositions which unite national and international artists. This double exhibition is made up of the exhibition named “Fuerte pasión” “Fuerte Passion” which includes works of seven different local artists all resident in the Costa del Sol and of the 1st International Exhibition of Recycled Art, in which twelve different artists from Europe and the United States participate with more than 120 works. This simultaneous exhibition was opened on the 21st of August and can be visited until the 25th October in the “Almenara” and “Bistro” halls of Fuerte Estepona Suites.

Alberto Fernández Prieto (Spain), Bruno Lefèbre (France), Cristina Pino and Gustavo Susanabra (Argentina) or Paul Swendsen (USA), are just some of the twelve artists who exhibit more than 120 works, greatly original and of visual beauty, created with recycled everyday objects (plastic, packaging, scrappage, wreckage, glass, etc,) where they express artistic trends such as Expressionism, Magical surrealism, Realism or Abstraction.
“Fuerte Pasión” is the other exhibition on show in Fuerte Estepona Suites. Manolo Olarte (Spain) whose speciality is sculpture, Mónica Vázquez (Spain) who stands out in photography, Débora Notensón (Argentina) who works with painting; they are some of the seven authors who are locals or residents in the Costa del Sol and who make up the exhibition.
Through painting, photography or sculpture the local artists wish to show social responsibility with the environment and with the need to form a new generation who act with responsibility towards the social end environmental problems they face.
